Is this the same as a SIP calculator?
No. This tool compounds a lump-sum principal. Recurring contributions (SIP) are planned for a later release.
Is loan EMI the same as compound interest?
Related but not identical. EMI uses reducing-balance amortization (interest each month on remaining principal). This calculator is for investment-style compound growth of a lump sum.
